Just done an overnight trip from Newport to Wimborne and back with with 2 phones running both the nds version and ttgo and there is a difference in the routing algorithm between the 2 softwares. My htc was running the nds while my galaxy s8 was running the latest patched by dfox.
To my mind the nds version gave me the more logical route while ttgo seemed to want to take me down a country lane, unsure how this will work out long term though.

Same here. I've been driving in rural Thailand (Surin) and the nds route would take the more logical route and the "old" app would go thru downtown Surin, which ofcourse is a slower route.

Now Surin is just an average Thai town. Try downtown Bangkok with all its traffic and that's when you really start to appreciate the new app and the way it calculates routes
