Thread: Converting GPX to routable IMG - Looking for software recommendations

SCDI: Hi I am also interested in making a map with GPX tracks. Ive been using GPX2IMG and MapSource and it STILL works but only with older Garmin Nuvis, I want to use a larger 6in unit and the layer does not display on it. Ive also done the process to unlock the firmware to allow non garmin created maps and it still doesn't display. So Im wondering if a map made with a different tool would work.

Before I go down that road I was wondering if there are any basic how tos on creating maps with these tools.
