Hey, can anyone help me with this?:

I've been trying to have a custom "Where To" icon but I'm getting wierd colors. Attached you may find the bmp's and screenshots from my nüvi 205. I activated the "Alternate Where To Icon Format" in the preferences since without it, it looks even uglier. I guess it has something to do with the alpha channel but I've been trying for hours and the only way things look acceptable is to:
- Convert to indexed PNG in GIMP
- "convert Beaches1.png -colors 256 Beaches1.bmp" (i.e. imagemagick)
Unfortunately, this comes at the price of removing the shadows completely (they would look crappy with 256c).

Try to make logos smaller than 150 pixels by 150 pixels for newer gps models (like the 37xx) or smaller than 64 x 64 pixels for older models (like the 760). Logos can be regular 24-bit logo, or even better, 32-bit logos with transparency.
