......... Sometimes confusing if you are not from this neck of the wood.
Certainly seems it's confusing for Garmin, or they know and don't care. It was discussed [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] earlier, but i'd forgotten about it. Probably Garmin can't be bothered fixing it along with the stupid bug which makes that file and AU appear updated with every release. And yes, i was living in the past saying Czechoslovakia for Czech Republic, sorry. Hard for us nether-worlders to keep up with the massive changes in the Old World. I'd have thought that those 3 countries are more properly described as part of Central Europe, but a well-respected local Geography expert [Garmin] describes them as 'Eastern Europe' and 'Features coverage of Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Slovenia'. Got both the 2 confusing 'Slov....' countries in there. Huh! And since when were Hungary and Romania part of Eastern Europe anyway ..... Just more of their cock-ups i guess
As already proven i'm no expert on current EU geography, but I'd reckon all of those Countries are part of Central Europe except maybe Rumania has a foot in both camps.
