One important detail that needs to be addressed. I believe that the Navitel model that janch flashed uses resistive touch like the E700 I flashed with the same firmware. I got my hands on a E707 Magnetic with the goal of converting it to WinCE with the aforementioned firmware in post #1, the device started bootlooping... and after one hour of sweating profusely with the worry in my head that I had bricked a customer's device, I found a firmware suitable for E707 Magnetic with a capacitive touch. So please check what kind of touch you have before flashing.

Good info. But I'm a bit puzzled as one would expect that all E707 have the same HW. Anyway, I'm still looking for the original firmware for reverting OS back to it's original state.

Thanks Gjon for your efforts. Will try ASAP and I will report back.

    later edit:
Unfortunately original flash files didn't worked. Unit is flashed and I get the message about the success, but after restart unit is stuck and freeze on the Navitel boot logo with the distorted picture. Connection with PC is impossible at that state. Luckily I was able to restore back the alternate software.

    Hello Everyone.
Navitel E707 Magnetic purchased in 2024.
I have already tried dozens of firmware versions. Everything was uploaded according to the instructions (SD card, 2GB, FAT, connected mains charger). Each of the available firmwares uploaded correctly, but after restarting there are the following problems:
    1. Restart at the boot stage (truck symbol/navitel logo -> after a while dots on the wallpaper and restart and so on)
    2. On some firmwares, reaching the calibration screen, which cannot be performed (clicking on the cross does not cause it to move around the screen)
    3. On one of the firmwares (I admit that at the moment I do not remember exactly which one it was) everything starts correctly, but there is a problem with calibration, i.e. clicking on the cross changes its position, but you can click on it indefinitely (as if you cannot complete the calibration procedure). When you exit the calibration process, you can't select a street in navigation (the latest version of Igo Truck or the latest version of Automapa). It's like you can't click on the line where the street selection is (you can either click the line above or below). I assume that this is due to problems with screen calibration, which can't be performed (unless I'm mistaken). Thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you for sharing. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. After installing the firmware, the navigation starts correctly (the main menu appears). However, after entering Calibration, it cannot be performed (you can click the X sign that moves around the screen endlessly). The effect of the lack of calibration is that one line on the screen does not work. For example, when I enter Settings -> Volume, I cannot click "Enable sound for taps". Similarly, when I enter Settings -> Language, I cannot change to any other language.

The same thing happened with the dots on the screen when I tried to flash a device with a capacitive touch screen with firmware for a resistive one. Try the one from post #11.

Unfortunately it still doesn't work. Firmware installs correctly (main menu appears). Calibration can't be performed (you can click the cross/plus sign endlessly). When I enter to:
    1. Settings -> Volume, I cannot click "Enable sound for taps".
    2. Settings -> Language, I cannot change to any other language.
    3. Tools -> Calculator, I cannot click any button in the row/line where there are 4,5,6
