Good info. But I'm a bit puzzled as one would expect that all E707 have the same HW. Anyway, I'm still looking for the original firmware for reverting OS back to it's original state.
One important detail that needs to be addressed. I believe that the Navitel model that janch flashed uses resistive touch like the E700 I flashed with the same firmware. I got my hands on a E707 Magnetic with the goal of converting it to WinCE with the aforementioned firmware in post #1, the device started bootlooping... and after one hour of sweating profusely with the worry in my head that I had bricked a customer's device, I found a firmware suitable for E707 Magnetic with a capacitive touch. So please check what kind of touch you have before flashing.

Unfortunately original flash files didn't worked. Unit is flashed and I get the message about the success, but after restart unit is stuck and freeze on the Navitel boot logo with the distorted picture. Connection with PC is impossible at that state. Luckily I was able to restore back the alternate software.
