You need to copy missing .nfs files to the MAP folder: MapDrawer, CountryProfiles, poicats, brunnel, sat...and then it will go pass the info and work just fine.(don't forget to add maps)

Hi i am new to this updating via packaged files
When clicking the short urls they dont seem to be working, i tried to get the easy 40 upgrade and the europe maps update but the urls timed out
Are there updated urls?

I also have a 4350Max which I am trying to upgrade to 70 Premium using the procedure outlined at the start of the thread. I have downloaded the update files and the Q1.2018 map/nfs files. Unrar'd the upgrade, formatted the device as FAT32; copied the new files in, along with a few map files and all the nfs files to a new NAVIGON/map directory. Booting up gives me the "NAVIGON software cannot be started" message in English, German and French.

If I connect the device to the PC and use Navigon Fresh software, it recognises the device and says it is running Version 7.7.6 and shows the map files I have installed... it just doesn't boot up

Did either of you (or anyone else) resolve this problem?

There navigonsd for rom update so copy rom files to sd card

I come no more to this website... please read first installation procedures.

Thanks Joyturkx, but my 4350 Max does not have a micro SD card (internal memory only), and anyway, I can't see anything in the instructions about "rom update".

I've reloaded the original "OS" from a backup and just updated the device with the newer maps/nfs/poi, and that seems to work OK, although no doubt there would be more features available with the newer "OS".

Unless anyone has any ideas, I think I'll just stick with the original installation with the newer maps.

All Navigon models has a sd card slot. Look good. That can micro sd card slot.

Upgrading 3310MAX to 40 PLUS works perfectly with above files and instructions.

Adding the Q2 2019 Maps and the 2016 POI pack also works perfectly with the upgraded 40PLUS software.

I have a navigon Canada 3100 and I want to update to 4310 max I did format I put the navigon file to my sd and also the map and the poi of 2019 but it doesn t give me the icon to opeb navigation .
I move some files from the old files and now I get it as an icon and when I choose it still doesn't open .If I use the old files and I put the new maps doesnt see them it work but I can see any map inside.
Any I deas what I do wrong?
