    Great Morco.
Thanks - it was precisely what I was looking for!

Do you know that situation when you give someone precisely what they ask for - and then there is that little: Ehr........ could I have it in another color/size/whatever?? :-)

IF, repeat IF, you are thinking of changing this nice UX, then I would love if you removed the Kilometer in the overlay - and maybe made the speed digits 50% bigger!

    Just my 10 cents!

    Again - thanks!!

    Here you go Buffen,

I've increased the size & removed the MPH/KMH for you.

Glad to hear all is good with the UX

(To change font size and position of overspeed alert further, just edit the …..portrait & …..landscape.css)

    Update -

Here is an alternative version. Probably something that I'm more likely to use
This UX is very similar but displays the speed of the speed limit when over speeding rather than the current speed

Morco - I was on a 700 km trip yesterday - and it worked fine - Thanks!

I've just stumbled over a strange thing - that I don't think is due to your UX:

"Normally/Before" when I'm over-speeding, I get a spoken warning: "Speed limit is 130 kilometres per hour".
If then I drop the speed to e.g. 125 km/h and accelerates over 130 km/h Ill got another spoken warning.

    Now:
I get a spoken warning first time I'm over-speeding - but not another if I drop the speed below the limit, and then accelerates so I go faster than the limit?

Bonus info: I did change to Q4/2018 maps at the same time I installed you UX!

    What do you think???

    Cheers

The UX could be the problem,

Android & Nextgen, I find a struggle to work with.

I guess the only way to find out would be to remove it and see if your spoken warnings return.

I've yet to test it properly myself but hope to do so soon.

    Some thoughts -

    Are you using a skin ? ,

does the default Nextgen give you spoken overspeed warnings ?, I've not used the audio warnings before

    Hi Again
OK - Ill give it a test without the UX, - and yes I'm using a Basarsoft/Jun 13 2018 version!
The default Nextgen, and Basarsoft version gives spoken warnings!
I can easily install a default version to test :-)

That's interesting to know about the Basarsoft version having spoken warnings, thanks.

    Regarding the overspeed UX,

It would be good to know if it does have a bug or not, thanks for doing some testing.
Unfortunately if the overspeed UX is causing the problem, I don't think that there will be a way for me to fix it
    regards

Well its NOT your UX that causes the issue!
We have 2 cars in the family, in both we have fixed "retired" Samsung mobiles as navigation - with same iGO version.
I have only installed your UX in my car, not in wifes - but they both have the sound issue.

So it must be the Q4 maps, or the combination of new maps and my version of Nextgen (Basarsoft)!

    Cheers.

@morco my friend is there any way to have something like PONGO overspeed

    When in tollerance - GREEN
    When overspeed - RED

So that it listens your settings and not the road sign. If you set 115% so that it shows GREEN when 100 and RED when 115% and not immedialtely when overspeeding for example 51km/h and limit is 50.

Something like PONGO has....but we need it for a DEFAULT skin.

    Thank you my friend.

    Hello Texas,

I have never used Pongo skin but I think I understand what you would like.

You wish for your current speed to flash on the screen in a green colour when the road speed limit is reached.

When your speed continues to increase the flashing current speed should change to a red colour in accordance to the tolerance value you have set for the speed warning.

At the moment I don't know how to do this but I will look into it for you when I have time.

    Regards

    morco

Here are 2 UX to try & test,

I have only briefly tested them in an 'adapted' simulation.

The first one should work as described in my above post(#19)

the second, should flash the current speed limit but only when you have exceeded your set speed limit tolerance.
