    Interesting. Are you sure your res is full 1024x600? Tested with screen size & density app? Only landscape mode?
    Change in sys:

    [android]
    fullscreen=1
    upside_down_bug=1
    tablet=1

    [rawdisplay]
    driver=engine
    screen_xy="1024_600:600_1024/1024_600
    or, only last line
    screen_xy="1280_800:1024x600/600x1024:fullscreen"

    Modemakias, you have couple of errors in mm ini, should be:

    If no success, then consider using NextGen.
    1024x600 is damn tricky res, and pain in the *ss to force it work on some devices.
