you are with default skin ... it is font problem...
first... doublikate the "the_skin.zip" for backup...
open "the_skin.zip\ui_nextgen\fonts" and remove the fonts Dosis_xxx and try...

Hello everyone,

I have tried setting up the speedcam warnings by following this procedure for [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and this one for [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] but none are working,
has anyone managed to get it to work ?

Reading your post and also what you wrote in this Thread [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to try help I created a small package with everything needed for the proper functioning of the Pongo skin in your language.
Make a backup of your iGO_World folder and keep it in a safe place, then replace the files in that folder with those attached.
It is necessary to delete the SAVE folder from your package.
Do tests.

I installed the skin by pongo, the warning messages work fine but the speed camera alerts don't work at all.
All the TTS tests work perfectly but I don't have the possibility to choose the sounds for the approach, the overspeed sound or the end of alert sound (see image).

So there is no Bip alert or speed camera warning message when driving, we just see the speed cameras on the map. I don't understand !

The question/complaint belongs to the pongo theme
In fact the question is whether you have adequate lang/voice files...for that skin. And properly set.

Are you using the data.zip file that I sent in the package?
The beep files are in data.zip.

Yes, I used all the files you gave me, the tests work on all the icons but while driving it doesn't trigger, and I have the same problem as [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

While driving or simulation ?
While simulation you will not get speedcam alerts
And please go to the pongo discussion, that has nothing to do with iGO World
