This workaround doesn't help if the background is not known...
Often it is just ignorance that is to blame because of the lack of knowledge of write and access rights on the SD card, and then such messages “global-cfg not found” appear.

My experience is different.
Samsung Galaxy A52 5G.
Problem with "global-cfg not found" solved with deletion
cache and data.
Set all permissions in the application.
Restarting the installed application
gave a positive result.

Last week my phone (Samsung S52 5G as reported by @Petar) updated itself to Android 14, and my long-serving version of Primo no longer works. It seems I must finally accept NextGen, at least on my phone.
I have tried installing every Android 14 apk (modified and unmodified) from @Boki's link in post 89 of this thread without success. Before every install I delete the file "device.nng" from my phone and after install I give the app full permissions to everything.
When I try to start the app the result is always the same: I get 2 warnings, the first warning says "This app isn't compatible with the latest version of Android. Check for an update or contact the app's developer"; the second warning says "This app was built for an older version of Android. It might not work properly and doesn't include the latest security and privacy protections. Check for an update or contact the app's developer".
I click OK on both warnings and then get a message saying "the application can be launched, please check other applications" I dismiss this warning and then get a message "missing or incomplete folder /sdcard/iGO". This is hardly surprising as there is no SD card in my phone and NextGen is installed to internal memory.
I click OK on this message and the app closes. Subsequent attempts to open the app produce only the waring about the SD card.
Does anybody know what causes this message?
I really don't want to have to have an SD card in the phone because I use the slot for a second Sim when travelling.
Edit: Just tried the installation process again with an SD card installed - no change to the events described above
Edit: All working now thanks to the package example kindly provided by @melyon

You are doing something wrong
The card has nothing to do with it. And as soon as you get such an error, it means that you assembled the package incorrectly
Main folder for all NG editions must be in the internal memory. Standard rules apply for [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and installation. The important thing is done after installation and before starting.
Carefully read all the posts referenced in the A 14 thread. Those variants have been tried on Samsung, even uninstalled and installed several times ...
Hello, after trying all the IGOs from: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
I have not been able to install none, I always get this message "The application has not been installed because it is not compatible with your phone" and it does not install, I have a Samsung Galaxy A55 5g with Android 14 and with UI 6.1.
I have deleted all traces of old installations and I don't know what else to do, can you help me?
Thank you

Do not waste time, you will not be able to install anything, because your phone does not support 32-bit applications (armeabi-v7a), but only 64-bit (arm64-v8a)...![]()
I have seen in this same thread that they have urged it in Samsung Galaxy A52 5G and S23 and these models are 64 bits (arm64-v8a) like the A55
Install Device Info HW and see what you have in the SOC section under Supported ABI...Spoiler: Supported ABI
Maybe this thread is no longer where I should ask the question but it is the continuation of my questions from post #100 and subsequent ones.
I have finally managed to install it on my Galaxy A55 5G, the issue was getting an arm64-v8a file, specifically I was able to install this igo navigation 9.35.2.283251 arm64-v8a.
But as it could not be otherwise there is another problem, when starting it tells me License error!!!, and I have them all installed and updated, so the program starts but without maps, also updated like the licenses, any suggestions.
Thank you
