it seems the only version that works is luna
the others ask for permissions, say that they are for an older version of android and just stay at black screen. what other permissions should i give them? i can't gind anything.
thanks
Much has been written about it, and also with newer versions of androids
Set up permissions in your system, etc... Each iGO will work.

You did not give Permission for Storage to iGO NextGen.
If you don't know how and where are the settings, google where it is for your phone model, there is little chance that someone has the same here.
But, first of all, turn off the play protection. And then browse the Forum, as I said, it has been written many times.
The warning that the software is intended for an older edition of Android is simply ignored.
You can also watch the video for Android 12
Spoiler: GDrive video collection
In the future, I will delete such questions without any warning, they have nothing to do with the Forum and navigation software. And they are constantly repeated.
thanks again for taking your time to answer me. if this does not belong here, please move it somewhere else, as it refers to a few other versions too
i gave it all the permissions, and also play protect didnt pop so it did not block any of the installers. they all get installed (i tried multiple versions, basar, world, etc. some start downloading 0kb and then black screen, some directly black screen, some start, get to the map screen, and stutter for many seconds, then work for a few seconds, then freeze angain, and so on. or they work until restart of phone and then black screen). they appear as installed apps on my home screen.
the only version that works is igo luna, but seems a bit unstable, it crashed a couple of times.
in the video for a12, the guy installs some tts engine. do i need it?
thanks again
TTS is not mandatory, it is a just complete instruction that covers all scenarios.
Unfortunately, I don't have any One+ around so I can test. Maybe some system cleaner/antivirus/similar blocks access.
Or it is just up to OxygenOS ...
Another option remains - put the iGO folder content (move it using system file manager) in android/data/com.basarsoft.igonextgen.javaclient. Install from there.
@cobrax3
I had the same story on 1+6t when switching to A11, resetting the device to factory settings helped. But before that, try the following:
1. Find and delete, if there are device.nng and activation_codes files from the license folder.
2. From the save folder, delete the preloads folder and the roadblocks.sav file.
3. In the android settings, stop the program and clear its cache.
4. Launch iGO and check...
If this does not help, then save your save folder, without preloads, delete iGO and install it again, if this does not help, then only reset the device to factory settings...
tried all of the above, no luck. just didnt reset to factory, as i have some apps that i cant reset right now. the folder android/data cant be read without root. i did put the kit there with a root app, but now it says cant find globa, even if i did configure. guess it cant read android/data either..l
Folder Android/data is not in the system partition (/data, /media, /obb, /obj). It is visible in all androids (internal shared storage).
But, you have to allow the system file manager to access the internal storage (stupidity, but...).
If that doesn't work either, then all you have to do is reset the device.
it does have permission, i checked. i can enter it, but it shows no files 😒. using root, i can see everything inside
You didn´t write whether you installed the apk with an "ux" from a skin.Try installing the apk with the original "ux",after changing it in TC for the "ux" from skin. This has helped me.![]()
