Skin iGO nextgen by pongo (DISCUSSION)

First of all I'd like to thank you for a superb skin for our iGO! I tried to search the answer but couldn't find any from this thread. The only post mentioning the issue is post #767 and the workaround there does not work for me. So, my problem is if speeding warning is set to only visual (skin settings/warnings/speed limit) the warning is audible as well. Any solutions or proposals how to disable audio? I am on version iGO_World_9.18.27.736653_modify_by_wassy and without Pongo skin I don't have this problem. Maybe I could replace a file in ux folder with original one if I only new which one is responsible for speeding suff...?

The iGO_World version is not included among the supported programs in pongo skin. This can still work, but there is no guarantee. It did not turn out to be TTS or traditional sound.
skin settings/warnings/speed limit/Warn When Speeding - three options: Audio and Visual / Visual / Disabled

If only the speech disturbances, a little lower in the menu it can be adjusted

Warning Type or Alert Type: Voice and alert sound / Only voice / Only alert sound
Under
Announce speed limit

If they do not work, you should go to the latest pongo ux-skin package, and select a supported nextgen version (iGO_Avic, iGO_Basar, iGO_Israel, iGO_Pal)

@Tajfun Thanks for the reply! I thought the World is compatible as well as there are all versions with red letters included in the main threads [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. But I'll give it a try with different version then and see if I get it to work as it should.

Settings \ Navigation View \ Intersection View \ Mini Intersection View

How can get the keyboard as old one? I mean before the updates of september. because its very big and can't see the search result without hitting the search botton.

keyboard_h:410; (replace 410 with 260)
that is so
keyboard_h:260; =ok
------------------------------------------------------------
2) - the_skin_by_pongo\ui_nextgen\common\ui\the_skin_by_pongo_params_portrait.css

Hi,
Thanks for update,
Any one have problem in most september's updates, when aproaching to a junction on highway, iGO start lagging and some times freeze for seconds and some times the screen just freeze but the app still running though can here instruction and alerts, It happens only on highway's junction and some times but not much when on roundbout. and as I said only in september updates from september 4th.
I have been using this pongo skin since first edition a years ago, and never have such problem.

Thx for your report. I can confirm this behavior. First I thought I have a problem with my device and did a factory reset and a complete reinstall of igo. But that do not solve the problem. Screen freeze and app still running. I've a PAL with pongos march version still fine running. But newer versions of the skin makes trouble.

Thanks for reply, for me it happens allso on other iGO such as isreal of dec/2017 and latest iGO world. today i used skin june 2nd and have the same problem and mai 29th is ok no problem at all, iGO run smooth. each time I swich a skin I use its relevent save file after a fresh clean, now trying latest one sept.27, tomorrow i have a journey for 700kms will see.
