Thanks @CChoupi, I replaced that file, but if you look in side of one of them to info.ini you will find "[INFO]

Hi quartzo
Yes indeed but this info does not constitute a certitude at all
because it may be left (volontarily or by mistake) inside a modifcated ux
Already seen in past................

Since some previous versions I have noticed that in the following two cases the settings are not respected:
1 - The information "Traffic Jam ..." is still spoken, although "apparently" have been disabled as images below
Spoiler: image
2 - Although "Offer Hints ..." is disabled (image below), I still get information on the screen
Spoiler: image

Yes the same in my experience.
I just started to use Igo Primo Nextgen (v.9.18.27.689739 skin by pongo 2016-08-13) and I like everything about the skin except one thing, the direction indicator tab in the left upper corner has a silver or gray background with a touch of 3D, in the middle it is light but on the top and bottom it is dark gray.
The bottom dark gray part makes the numbers difficult to read. How can I fix this? The best would be white numbers and arrows on black background, but black numbers and arrows on white background would be also fine.
I just did, thank you for the link. So far I have only one problem, but it's a serious one. When I click on "New Route", I have no place to enter the text for the new route. On the very top, above the blue line I can see the text "New route to..." but there is nowhere to click in order to have keyboard to show up.
I also noticed that the old ux folder has 68 zip files while this new one has only 20. Maybe the problem could be somewhere here?

You must be referring to the ux_additionally folder that has 25 files.
Required is the ux folder that contains 99 files. The other as the name suggests is additional, use as you wish.
Sorry, it was my fault, from the 2 available links I downloaded the ux files only, when I downloaded the whole enchilada, its ux folder did have 99 files in it and I'm OK now. Thanks!
How can I set what files iGO should use? Should I copy only those to the phone that I want to use? How do I know which one I should?
Two posts merged, quote shortened
Don't use all 99 files!
For instance only 1 speedcam_xx.zip file.
