I tried several differents packages and none effectively changed the behavior, I guess the HU doesn't allow to change it indeed.

I decided to keep the NextGen using the latest TomTom maps available and a clean version of the NextGen, it is working perfectly (POI still a bit outdated but seems like it's TomTom's fault) <3
