    Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.

    Thanks a lot, Boki!
    This was kind a "quick fix" and widgets are quite bigger now!
    dpi = 640
    base_dpi = 320

    I have been experimenting with dpi and base_dpi parameters (without fully understanding the difference between the two) and I have noticed some combinations do not work - they were ignored and the result was the same as with dpi="auto" settings.

    Anyway, the problem with this approach is that everything becomes bigger, so when I go to e.g. Menu, I can see fewer items listed.
    I was hoping I could make those widgets bigger only (also, to understand how this works so that I could make some other modifications).
    It is not that I'm a picky user, but I was setting this up for my 70 yrs old uncle who still drives a truck so I wanted to make things bigger while in driving mode.
    When selecting destination etc. he would have his reading glasses on!

    However, I guess I'll do some more reading and maybe I'll succeed to find the right ballance with dpi and base_dpi parameters!
    Thanks again!
