As boki said, before a new install rename your save folder and back up your user pois, clear cache and data and uninstall iGO in the app manager.
Reboot your device.
During installation a new save folder will be made.
Let us know if it works.
I have to say that the traffic sever was down for 15 min or so this morning here, I suppose because of the heavy traffic in The Netherlands.
That can happen somtimes.
