NEWBIE [and THE OTHERS :)] PROBLEMS with NG INSTALATIONS

Finally got it to work but now when it announces turn instructions using tts it says the street name but then adds other info like A..O...S.. .1
Is there something to stop it saying the last bit?

Delete the phoneme files

Deleted the phoneme file but it still reads out the road info followed by the statement AOS 1.
I am also getting an announcement when the roadsigns pop up at the top of the screen even when no route is set.

What you hear are the recorded sounds.

it is necessary to erase the recorded sounds ( ! InformSigns........) in the file:
iGO_XXX \ ui_nextgen \ audio.
it is the easiest and most radical solution.You will have a silence.

If you are perfectionist you record these sounds in .wav format in your Language especially with the same names:! Attention by replacing the old ones who are in Lithuanian or Russian ..

!InformSigns Advance information sidns -
!LowBeam Please turn on headlights -

Finally you can change these sounds record by Ding, Dong. Clinq.. Flong .

Main Menu \ Settings \ Skin Settings \ Warnings

you are looking for one by one and you configure it to your guize

PS: I notice that you are from Australia so your language is english no need for translation it's already done.

You can delete !InformSigns and rename !InformSigns en ===> !InformSigns (without: en) in file Audio

Or

In the configuration you choose

!InformSigns ===> !InformSigns en.

It is still reading out AOS 1 at the end of street announcements when a route is set.

I followed your advice for the advanced warning information signs and that has worked. Thanks

Try to disable Announcement Arrival (By Wiman) and even if the Sound persists

Menu \ Settings \ Sound \ TTS Pro \ Arrival announcement (By Wiman)

I had a version of nextgen that showed a large segmented speedo overlayed in the middle of the map. Since installing the pongo scheme this has disappeared.
Is it possible to have this feature in Pongo's skin?
I tried the speedometer program by aramini but it is not the same

First I tried installing igo_Avic with two versions from here full craced. in one case opens, cheking for resources to download, ok and then shows black screen, the other goes to open, shows the signal pioner and closes (android 7). then i tried the iGO gift 9.18.27.687519 from here. Shows the signal and close. (sorry for my english). help please.

First comply with the installation procedure, in detail.
And, if you want help, give more details, much more, [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Anyway, I guess you tried to install it from SD card. Use internal memory.
Or your device is malfunctioning.

Judging by the screen, you messed up a lot

First, it is not clean package. And it is possible that you had previously had some older iGO on the device and that the contents were mixed.
