And what is "Warning Sign Alerts?" Post screenshot of those signs. What I said are for driver alert signs* taken from .fda files and if you read and understand what I wrote, it's correct. What you described is for Primo skin (which many skins provide as well, not just Doupas) and what I said is for NextGen. In both cases, the settings in sys.txt will works!! Your original post was about "delay" which I explained possible reason why. As I said there are two modes: prewarn and warn. Both should occurred BEFORE the actual sign. If you are seeing it AFTER the sign, there is some other problem. But you CAN adjust the distances per my post. If you want to hear announcement when in prewarn (by using a skin that supports it), that's fine too (most of us don't)

News flash: driver alerts sign comes in 4 classes: Curves and Corners, Lanes and Overtaking, General Warnings and Traffic and Crossing

But using this configuration or sys.txt settings makes no difference, the icons have the same delay when are shown on map:

Your "delay" problem is caused by something else. You can ask the people who made the skins and they will tell you those settings are for road signs!
Try not using any skin and put settings in sys.txt to see if it help.

That is speedcam alerts and has nothing to do with road signs. The only "similar" things about it is its presentation on the screen. Doesn't even use same data nor mechanism as road signs warning.

It seems that this is an issue for iGO Primo, because there are more users reporting this problem. Nextgen works much better, but I don't like it.

For me the spoken traffic signs it's just fine, because I don't look at the gps anyway:
