Is it maybe this problem?
I tired both google TTS and VocalizerEx2 TTS, same problem.
Lang_English-us.zip used.
Thanks.

thank.
I already tried that TTS file from #83 but no use.
In Luna the files equivalent to the Phoneme are found inside the map, they are the .gph files, but I think they are not active, (mine are not active), you see it in Main Menu / About / Content / Phonemes.
The problem is not the voices but what they "read", it is how to make two different people read a book, the book is the same and if there is an error it will be repeated by both people.I tired both google TTS and VocalizerEx2 TTS, same problem.
I do not understand your problem, but you have to look for the error in the dictionary.voice of the voice file you use, there are all the written phrases that the voices read and repeat in all versions of iGO.
In the lang file (dictionary.lang) instead there are all the writings that appear in the various menus or warning windows, at least you will find one writing instead of another but it has nothing to do with voice warnings,Lang_English-us.zip used.
I think "Birbante" is right about the gph files. I completely overlooked that it was about luna. The files are active in some US states.
Delete the gph files if they are active
Thanks Birbante.

This is the right answer.
I deleted 4 .pgh files _NA.gph, _NA_vr.gph, Canada.gph, Canada_vr.gph and seems fixing the problem.
And I totally overlooked that it was Luna, too.
The answer was given immediately in the post #106 and was valid even then.
First off all, thank you for all your work on iGO. I find it amazing, but it all gets over my head. As a retired baker I'm already glad I can understand some of it.
I saw your Flemish TTS voice file here after a lot of searching.
I have been using iGO since 2009 on my old Qtek S200 winmobile 5. Now I'm using iGO Gift on an Android 5.0.2 phone.
I'm so used to my Flemish (Belgian) voice of Nicole. But it is no TTS voice.
Now I was happy to download your Flemish TTS voice file, but sadly it is no Flemish voice. It is a Dutch (Netherlands) voice.
Is there a way my Nicole voice (with audio ogg files) can be transformed into a TTS file?

It doesn't work that way.
TTS lang/voice files are just words, text. What synthesizes the voice is the engine.
I have UK_eng voice from here but it refers to motorway as highway. Can this be changed through the config database file? Has it been done already somewhere that I have missed?
