It's not the same, problem are the phoneme files? Don't work with Android.
Delete the phoneme folder.
This applies only to "Here" maps.
Or use another TTS engine (if there is no phoneme folder)

I have downloaded the voice pack as shown in Post #83, however with this file it's also doing the same. The navigation goes "turn right onto phone alphabet sample PH backslash B r backslash RU phonim" I'm not sure what this Jargon is. Here is the audio clip of the problem; [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] after this is names the correct road.

That problem with pronunciation has long been known. It has nothing to do with the voice or engine itself, but occurs when using a combination of Here content, phoneme files and android software
Although it seems to me that it also existed with the WinCE editions
