I use Igo as primary and TomTom NDS as backup navigation. I didn't have any issues with TomTom for now. But to be honest I don't turn it on very often.

I've been using TomTom for years and it's worked well for me, but when it comes to speed cameras, Google Maps is better for me.

TomTom was much better when I was using it, but as I have TomTom maps (beside HERE) in iGO, Google Maps is more practical as addition.

I use Waze via Android Auto. It's the best option for me.

Google Maps is the best because it is free and has always updated maps

To be honest, it’s hard for me to give a fair comparison because I haven't used a dedicated TomTom device in years. My experience with them is quite dated.

As a smartphone user, I consider myself a 'basic' navigator. I mostly rely on Google Maps on my iPhone for quick trips because of the live traffic data and the ease of searching for places.

However, the real reason I’m here is my car units. My Erisin (WinCE) and Peugeot RT4 don't have internet connectivity. This has left them somewhat obsolete and 'out of use' lately. That is exactly what I want to change! My goal is to update these offline systems with the latest 2024 maps and a great UI like WolfNCU, so they can be fully functional and reliable again without needing a phone data plan.

For me, there's a special reliability in a well-updated offline GPS. No signal drops, no battery drain on the phone, and a clean interface integrated into the dashboard. That’s the 'second life' I'm looking for!"
