I wanted to avoid the situation where I would be left without navigation due to a loss of online connection. That's why I use offline navigation. I started using iGO almost thirty years ago and was happy with it. My current car doesn't have navigation. I have iGO installed on my phone. My vote: iGO

I've tried a lot of things... sygic, tomtom, you name it... i'm always back to iGO, no matter what

all navigation apps are useful in their own way... for shorter/simpler trips Waze is excellent, google maps is okay too... also Here wego and Magic Maps are very interesting too, IMO the ones closest to iGO with offline maps capability

but for me, iGO nextgen/Luna with skins (especially Pongo, arimi, vicewandel...) is still an unbeatable combo

I mostly use TomTom Go on Android Auto. You can download the maps, which makes it easier to use offline. I also like that you can set the maximum speed. The driving time is then calculated based on that, for example when driving with a trailer. However, the app starts up slowly. Because of this, the information bar is not always visible right away. You only see it once the app has fully loaded on your smartphone. That’s my only annoyance. Other than that, it works well and I’m quite satisfied.
