As you may know I use OziExplorer alot on a PDA when I travel around the Ozi bush, been using the PDA and an Etrex since about 2002, probably before in car navigators came out or were popular.
Which is your favourite Navigation System or Nav.phone application?

I guess GPS hiking dedicated devices users love Garmin and probably would like Garmin for automotive use too, especially North American users.
In Europe for cars a lot of users like TomTom.
Phones users like iGO especially the ones who likes to mod the apps a bitiGO is a very good program and can play with it.
Users who doesn't want to have hurdles and problems like Sygic: easy
Users who want free maps and free app, like Locus, Orux and Osmand: all free, app&maps, but OSM maps quality is lower.

Just my 2 c. but IMHO, only dedicated hardware may be powerful enough to be a reliable gps, ie. providing substantial battery life and no bloated processor by extraneous out-of-topic running applications...
[FTR, I just expressed my point of view. I'm not trying to troll there]
Like using my TT Go730, especially for my work POI's, sometimes use my samsung s4 mini.
