android phone iGO
android phone iGO
I use iGO on my WinCe car device. So on my android phone also use iGO. The program is very easy for using and there`s have many ways to make the program as you like.
Had a Garmin and still have a Tom Tom gps unit that I don´t use anymore since I discovered IGO for WINCE and android.
In case of Phone application, shouldn't Waze be part of the list?
For me it depends. If it's for short distances and in rush hour, I prefer using Waze due to the traffic and routes to avoid traffic. Long distances and general radar I use Garmin.
IGO is not popular in Brazil... but after checking the results, I'll seriously search for something about it.
using Garmin nüvi 660
Sygic all the way. Fast and quick satellites acquisition and accurate navigation.
I Love TomTom and Igo, but still i voted for Sygic![]()
It would have to be my Garmin 2595LMT for my long distance driving.
My Garmin ETrex for all my Hiking
As for my Smartphone
TomTom
Osmand+
Navigon
Gave up on Sygic since new UI
But my phone GPS is only as a backup.
Cant say as it depends on what I driving and I am in the middle of trying various ones out just now. Spent the past two years with igo8 in my Binatone for the car but that could be difficult to see the arrow pointing at exits from the motorway and a few times I was at the junction before the sat nav. Got Igo Primo in just mow and going to try it tomorrow.
When on the bike I will be wanting voice more than vision so thinking Bluetooth so my sat nav is out. I am trying a few also on the Android. Got sygic, route66, Navion and Navfree in the phone just now to try. Binned tomtom due to it having issues turning on the GPS. I think more a Kitkat problem rather than TT though. Binned CoPilot live what was a shame as that looked nice. It would not save to my SD card. Not enough storage in the phone. I do like the look of navfree best but I don't think that has lane assist like the tomtom and primo. So far Route66 is working my GPS best and I kind of like the simplicity of it. Shame is has no real lane assist unless it has in a later version.
Igo Primo on both Iphone 6 plus and Samsung Galaxy Tab S.
Can't customize anything on the iPhone primo without running into license issues but the Android version version is so customizable that it's confusing and complex
Live traffic doesn't seem to be that accurate but then again it isn't with any navigation app I have experience with. It has one of the best lane assistance though.
Igo does the most important thing best; getting me were I need too be.
Oblivisci tempta quod didicisti
