If you've updated the fw since you first applied the patch, try de-doing it with your current fw.

oh thank you very much. I'm going to look real dumb here but how do you find the firmware patch? I used the express program to update my unit. I've no idea where to find the file I'd need to patch. my unit is the nuvi 3760LMT. I got it!!!!! after reading your post I got an idea and thanks to this thread [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] I made it work. Now how do you get the Asian firmware as it seems to work better?
