Sorry to ask this as I'm sure it's been asked before. I own a nuvi 3760 This was the unit where you could enable voice commend along with 3-d maps but I just want the voice. So I updated the maps and they force the firmware upgrade on you at the same time. So now I've lost voice commend. I tried to reuse the old RGN file I had along with RGN_tool along updater it updates fine like it did when I first got the unit but it did not enable the voice commend this time. is there a way to enable voice commend again or am I out of luck? I'm in Canada using North America maps.

oh thank you very much. I'm going to look real dumb here but how do you find the firmware patch? I used the express program to update my unit. I've no idea where to find the file I'd need to patch. my unit is the nuvi 3760LMT. I got it!!!!! after reading your post I got an idea and thanks to this thread [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] I made it work.
