Hi, I am a newbie with Garmin and I'd like to enable 3790 functions my 3760T recently bought in Europe. It's already updated to the newest FW version (4.70). I've some questions regarding the procedure to follow for proper patching and flashing:
0)As initial FW image to patch, may I use the file GUPDATE.GCD present on the .System folder? Or should I download a specific image from garmin website?
1)Does RGN tool v0.84 support 4.70 FW version?
2)RGN shows HWID: 1101 and SW: 4.70 for both boot.bin and fw_all.bin. Should they be maintained as they are?
3)After applying the following message is displayed "US3790 patch applied! Not sure which features will be enabled. It works better with asian firmware". Is the modified FW safe to install?
4)Which is the best procedure to follow to flash the new FW image?
