BTW have a feeling your method could be applicable to other nuvi series where ASR can be enabled but no microphone installed as the one of the upper class. (e.g. nuvi 23xx, 24xx etc. series)

I'm new to this and may ask some stupid questions. I have nuvi 3760LMT and trying to make 3790. Let me explain what I did. I took nuvi37xx_GCDFile__470 (I beleive I can use original GUPDATE file from my GPS, if not let me know) opened it in RGN_Tool ,pached it and saved as .rgn file. I didn't change anything in settings of RGN_Tool, because have no idea what they mean. After that I flashed my GPS with this file by using Garmin Web Updater and nothing happened. What wrong did I do? I also read I need .srd files to make voice recognition working, I beleive, I also need some files to make 3D working. Where should I get them?

I am new here. I like to share that my 3760 us firmware 4.70(bought from a friend) succesfully flashed and now can use voice command. The detail instructions on page 8 help me a lot.
To ivan2red, you have to use updater.exe in post #79 not web updater. After flashing then use web updater to get voice recognition file.

I'd like to thank everybody who helped me. I got voice recognition on my nuvi, but a lot of commands not available either for american english or for US, I dont understand why. My nuvi has this commands in it's menu. If someone can give me advice, please. Now I have questions about 3D. I downloaded unlocked gmap3d.img file and placed it in System folder, but got nothing again. What am I doing wrong?
If my nuvi gets updated in the future will I loose all this options?

Yes, voice commands needs 2 kinds of additional files, that are absent on nuvi 3760:
*.srd - these are for nuvi control and commands like volume settings, can be downloaded with WebUpdater.
*.ASR - these files come with maps release and are used for voice search, can be downloaded with MapUpdater.
