Wait, so do you have the fenix 5X Plus or the older fenix 5X (without "Plus")? Because the old fenix 5X only has "Music Controls" AFAIK? Those, of course, will continue to work with the D2 Charlie firmware.

Basically, as you can see from the filename, the D2 Charlie 6.00 firmware is based on the fenix 5X firmware 20.00 - so everything that works on fenix 5X with 20.00 works on the D2 Charlie 6.00.

To convert, you'd have to downgrade to 20.00 first, WHICH WILL DELETE EVERYTHING. Or you wait until the next release version and a bit more until the D2 Charlie firmware gets updated at which point I'll create a new conversion firmware.

The Delta, yes, as it is based on the fenix 5 Plus series. But you’ll convert to the D2 Charlie. These are compatible hardwares:

* fenix <=> D2
* fenix 3 <=> D2 Bravo
* fenix 5X <=> D2 Charlie
* fenix 5S/5/5X Plus <=> D2 Delta

Since you have the 5X you can only turn it into a D2 Charlie and that one doesn’t have music storage either.
