    You were right. Needed to update WinRAR. Thanks for the suggestion. Never had that issue before.

    I was referring to the links in the OP.

    Also, I can't seem to find a US firmware for the Nuvi. I was able to find one but it looks like its' for India gps units.

    Searching google for "nuvi24xx software updates and downloads" would likely find it, it's probably not been published by Garmin under 2460.
