Is this still an urban myth or is it true? I noticed that when I converted my 3790 US to a 34xx, the accuracy got a little bit off. With the stock 3790 firmware, usually when I turn on a curve the GPS immediately follows, but with it converted to the 34xx it sometimes doesn't follow right away.
