I can't make it work, but that's been with recent fw's.
For some reason I always thought that 34xx fw_all.bin doesn't work with 37xx bootloader (so you have to flash 34xx boot.bin at least once and make it install 34xx bootloader) even if you change HWID to 1101 in fw_all.bin. Probably I even tried doing this in the past. Alexander also confirms that this is true. That's why I'm really curious how you make it work.

guys we about 37xx to 34xx or talking about 24x0 in dezl 560?
found message, where I flash with 3760 native bootloader in 3490Spoiler: CLICK
ps links to 4pda only point to the section where in 2011 we discussed the need for flashing the bootloader from 34xx.
Based on existing at the time firmware versions, it was about firmware for November 2011. So they worked in combination bootloader from 37xx and all the rest of 34xx.

Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
@Alviora
Both, which is why i will need to move at least some of the 37>34 posts.
@kunix
I do have the bl**dy device but had forgotten what the symptoms were so i had to try again.
This: Clear NV, remove Voice, Text & Keyboard folders, flash in preboot mode 110101000780.rgn made up of 37x0 v5.00 boot.bin and 34x0 V7.80 fw_all.bin & fw1_resources.bin. Loads successfully without complaint from updater.exe.
Results: On reboot unit sticks on Garmin logo forever. Has to be forced off. Flashes back to 3790 ok, seems to operate normally.
EDIT: Going to bed. Good luck with the 4pda.ru site guys.

I don't like those symptoms... It looks like the firmware starts but crashes somewhere and it could take tons of time to find out the exact problem and patch it.
So just to confirm, there is no solution to the accuracy problem besides going back to original 37xx firmware?
I have about 100 units 3760 and all of them will be reprogrammed in 3490. you can test everything, but cautiously, because Replace Memory absolutely no interest to me and my boss.
try to flash in conjunction with the native bootloader on older firmware versions that are relevant in November 2011.
