That interesting information!! Apparently you have great familiarity with hardware Garmin. Do you mean that all nuvi, 40/50, 24x5, 25x5 has exactly the same processor/chipset and soon, everyone will be able to use the benefits of future Galileo network? Note that there is a slight variation in the termination of processors models, N2 up to Y2 (533 to 754mhz) so they can be of the same family, with the same general model designation, but with differences in processing speed. I believe that knowing the hardware of gps can open doors to unveil many "mysteries" of the firmware and its compatibilities, so I emphasize their importance.
I would like very much to know what is the processor of 3790, which becomes very hot. Is the same of the entire line of the 3xxx series 2012, apparently the coldest?
