You are unbelievable!
Good job!
You're right again.
When I changed the folder name from 3508 to 3433, everything was OK.
There is not the hidden menu behind the battery symbol and everything works with "1:/" in commands. Mark 1:/ is micro SD card.
It may be a "localized" version of 200i, perhaps made for a specific market. Without the original fw it's hard to help you. If you can access the hidden menu behind the battery symbol to find the PBC/PN and it matches the one for the device with HWID 3433 then it may be possible to use that fw's boot.bin/ldr.bin to dump the regions.
NOTE: It might also not be capable of dumping regions if the rrgn command is not written in the fw.

I've just noticed your post [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Seeing you've been able to use the Ldr.bin for HWID 3433 to dump regions, it may be possible to fully convert to HWID 3433 by flashing an RGN file in preboot or use xrgn commands to flash the BIN components. The "K" version limiting the use of TT15 collars may then be overcome. There's still always the chance you'll brick it of course so all risk is yours naturally. Best to compare the fw_all 14.bin and logo 16.bin from the fw with the ones you've dumped, i'm tipping there will be some difference ... most likely in the logo region (decimal 16/hex 0x10). Use a hex reader or compare hashes.

I did backup for all regions on Alpha 200i K few hour ago.
There are backup just for regions 5,12,14,16,34,43,45,48,83,144,152,154 and 180.
I have error message for regions 3,10,17,19,21,44,46,49,50,51,74,75,76,77,90,93,99,100,102,123,131,134,135,136,166,245 and 248.
I have message "Success" for all other regions from 1-255, but they have 0 byte size.
I hope that this informations are useful for somebody.
@Butters Thank you for help again!
Maybe already passed in this topic, but otherwise can be helpfull for others
I created a nonvol Backup of my Zumo 345LM
After a few failed attempts I found the right settings in update.txt
I inserted the prepared SD card with ldr.bin in the zumo and switched it on.Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
and that one did the job!
I see a 154.bin with 4.194.304 bytes file size.
Logs show also ok.

Hi, I'm trying to make a backup, but to no avail ... I did everything as written in the instructions, I tried:
rrgn, 41.1: /41.bin
reboot
rrgn, 41.2: /41.bin
reboot
rrgn, 154.2: /154.bin
reboot
but there is no "backuup.bin" file on the SD card
Or how do I know that a backup has been saved?

The command format is incorrect. You have two extraneous spaces, one after rrgn and one after the colon. Also it should be a comma after region number not a period (full stop). e.g. You've written:
"rrgn, 41.1: /41.bin" and it should be:
"rrgn,41,1:/41.bin"
Other things to check:
- Do you have Ldr.bin and correctly named update.txt (NOT updater.txt) in HWID folder?
- If there's a file named "last_id.bin" in HWID folder you must remove it. Try placing an empty file named update.log in there (make one with Notepad).
- Do you have correct naming of HWID folder (use same HWID as that of the Ldr.bin in it)?
- Do you have correct folder layout? Garmin\Updater\xxxx where XXXX is 4 numerals of HWID, e.g. US/EU firmware version zumo 595 has 2436
- Try a different microSD card, some don't work in some device even if they work in other Garmins.

List of "dumpable" regions:
Regions 41 and 154 are missing!Code:Please Login or Register to see the links![]()
@Vadimk
Are you sure they are actually missing, perhaps rather they're protected against copying?
I suspect that "NV configuration" role is now played by region 13 (0x0D), 2MB in size.Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
It, like regions 41 and 154 before, contains UnitId and references to maps installed in the device.
