You cannot 'see' the boot.bin, it's not part of the file system. It's a component of the firmware file, so open "nuviCam_360.gcd" with RGN_Tool (attached below) and save the first section as Ldr.bin. Look at the pic in initial post of how to do it.

Yea, that was about the only way that I COULD get visibility of that file -but somewhere they were saying that this is supposed to be content from MY nuvi, inclusive of licensing, serials, yadda yadda yadda?
The file GUPDATE.GCD is usually on-board in the (usually hidden) .System folder, but it's not always present. You can unhide protected system files and other hidden files and folders in Windows via Control Panel>File Explorer Options (or Folder Options depending on OS version)>View.
