In what NVM region is usb,in region 41?
If it in some other region i can send him nvm backup,or if i send him region 5 and 14 maybe then will problem disapere?

I have no idea where usb-related info is stored, if any. But I think it's a good idea to flash a few regions dumped from a healthy device.

Download and extract directly to empty SD

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Add SD card in nuvi and turn it ON (disconnect nuvi from Pc before you turn ON)

When flash is over your nuvi will turn on normaly

Now erase all from SD

I have one more idea... Each time you want to see the nuvi's flash drive you put it into pre-boot mode and flash something quickly. After you're done with the flash drive, the nuvi boots normally. No need to flash two large firmwares, but just a small one and only once.

Today i might have access to my uncle´s Nuvi 1300. Do you think it is possible to clone nuvi´s drive with some tool or something like that?

it´s kind of annoying, but it can work... actually it´s what i did to update my Nuvi. Like i don´t have to do that very often i think this can work, and i can update maps with the SD using an external card reader. I just wanted to make it work like it should.

I understand that this is annoying... but I don't see any other options.
Try doing the following:
0) ensure your nuvi is flashed with any original firmware
1) flash [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] every time you want to enter flash drive mode.

Btw, looks like I can make a cure that doesn't need an original firmware file at all, the only requirement is that the device is flashed with a normal firmware.
Also it wouldn't need to flash the CURE firmware first and the ORIGINAL after that.
Though this wouldn't add any new possibilities, but it would make the curing process more pleasant and quick.

Well, i little disappointed, i flashed the fw, it says update succesful, but i can´t see the drive at all, not even for a moment. it just restarts normallyl.

i think i can handle updates using the SD card, and flashing cure and original firmwares.
