    Even if boot is still working? I thought if boot is OK then device is still recoverable.

    @Alexander2010

    Thanks a lot for your response. Is there any way to make a miracle for my nuvi?

    This device cannot be reprogramming by original ramloader.

    Okay, let's try once again to perform a miracle. What was HWID your 1260? 971?

    Yes, the original HWID is 971. I got this unit from eBay last year with the freeze problem in the Garmin logo. Hope this unit can "wake up" again.

    Thanks.

    Dear Lolypop000, thanks so much for the cure files which you sent to me by PM. I have tested and still no luck

    I have followed how to make cure firmware from this website using the tools like GarminCure3, RGN_Tools and HexEdit. But, the miracle still far away from my nuvi

    If after flashing you see ANY logo - try to flash original firmware named as 097201000801.rgn (I found only dumps from 1300, but it must work)

    Dear Alexander2010, thanks a lot for the cure FW. I tested and got this error and updating is not working

    App: Updater
    At: 23/02/2012 2:05:13 AM (UTC)
    OS: WIN32 Windows Platform, Major Version: 6, Minor Version: 1 Service Pack 1
    Processor: Pentium Pro or Pentium II, RAM: 2077536 KB
    IOU_UTILITIES.CPP-203-2.8

    I'm experiment with the cure FW 2xx from PouchX and the system software changed to Nuvi 2 dan HWID changed to 827. But, still got the boot loop without Garmin logo. It seem this unit still can be erased with the correct cure FW.

    Is there the universal cure FW for all nuvi series and all HWID to erase/format the RAM in the unit and then we can flash with the original FW?
