HI Kunix,

That was exaxtlly how Nuvi 1390 was working after trying GarminCure3.
I used the file you provided and now it starts and stays with white blank screen, either in normal start or in Boot mode start.
In boot start mode device is seen in Win Device Manager and by updater but no drive appears in MyComputer.

Hey, if possible please continue the discussion here! IMHO this is the most interesting thing about that topic - the cases where Cure3 tool don't work and needed other approaches. Otherwise the topic will be only with "Thankyous".

I've often thought about this but would not know how to try it.
So in theory you could flash a new image to repair the internal flash drive or any other region which may have become corrupt (Except if the corruption is in the boot block and the nuvi cannot enter into pre-boot mode)
How would one go about making the rgn file ?

But this doesn't add any new repair methods. Except maybe when boot.bin is unable to start. But in this case the firmware is most likely to be unable to start.
How-to make a RGN:
drag fw_all.bin and other files to RGN_Tool and then save it as RGN.
OR
makergn.exe 097201000200.rgn 0x0E fw_all.bin

This is how I got it, plus a broken digitizer ... I replaced the digitizer with new in order to try fix software
After updating successfully with 097201000580.rgn file from Kunix, the Nuvi 1390 starts with white blank screen for about 4 sec, goes to Nuvi logo screen for about other 4 sec after which screen shuts down for 1 sec, Nuvi logo reappears and so on..

Did your nuvi behave differently before trying GarminCure3? To check it, try flashing ORIGINAL firmware.
Now I know that your firmware is really started by the bootloader, because there was an infinite loop at the beginning of the firmware in the second RGN.
Now I want to find the exact instructions of the firmware that cause crash/reboot. This is a very long process, so let's do it in private, and then just publish the results here.

I can not reply to private messages as I have less than 15 posts...
Flashed with file from you, it stays now with white blank screen in pre-boot mode without need to depress top left corner of display.
It is seen in Device Manager as GARMIN USB GPS but no storage or drive is seen by Windows..
If I try run webupdater, it says "update fie is corrupted".
If I load a file ( say nuvi13xxand14xxseries_GCDFile__570.gcd, but I tried others too), into webupdater, I get message:
"The Garmin device has returned an error status whilereceiving data packets.
This could be due to a malfunctioning in the Garmin device or an error in this application.
If this error continues, contact Garmin Tech Support"

Did you try with 110401000580.rgn that kunix send it to you ?
What write updater if you flash with above file?
If updater write error restart your PC and try again.

If you flash with 097201000580.rgn and you have software missing than you have MTK nuvi 13xx.
