I play with my nuvi 3490 and find something interesting when i try to enable active lane guidance

First i explore region 140 from nuvi 2597 from @Alviora.

I see that in region 140 is Photoreal JCV.xml enabled by default and also that reg140 on nuvi 2597 start with 28 but on 3490 start with 20, then i start testing and this is result:

First i only add 01 in place in red circle on picture below, look also at start number:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

But supported_features.html is after this change like before (no change in supported_features.html )

    <html><br><b>Supported Features</b><br><br>Part Number: 006-D2617-00<br>Rev: 0A<br><br>3D Buildings<br>3D Terrain<br>TTS Phonetics<br>Junction View<br>Lane Assist<br>Speed Limits<br>Traffic EULA<br>Photo Nav<br>ASR<br>Historic Traffic<br>Custom Avoidances<br>Advanced Detours<br>Premium Point Addressing<br>2D Footprints<br>3D Buildings Supplementary<br>Bluetooth<br>MP3<br>Video Playback<br></html>
Then i change in reg140 start number from 20 to 28 ( like on nuvi 2597) and add 01 in place where nuvi 2597 have enabled PhotoReal JCV.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

and now supported_features.html look like this:

    <html><br><b>Supported Features</b><br><br>Part Number: 006-D2617-00<br>Rev: 0A<br><br>3D Buildings<br>3D Terrain<br>TTS Phonetics<br>Junction View<br>Lane Assist<br>Speed Limits<br>Traffic EULA<br>Photo Nav<br>ASR<br>Historic Traffic<br>Custom Avoidances<br>Advanced Detours<br>Premium Point Addressing<br>2D Footprints<br>3D Buildings Supplementary<br>Bluetooth<br>MP3<br>Video Playback<br>Photo Real JCV<br></html>
So i have no luck to enable active lane guidance ( i think that nuvi series 2013 will have different JCV or this function by default in FW) but found out how to enable Photo Real JCV to show in .html

    p.s.
Maybe we must also flash region 132 and 150 becouse nuvi 2597 have data in this two region, but nuvi 3490 have this region empty.
I don't know what data is in region 132 and 150 so i will not flash it on nuvi 3490. ( maybe someday when i know what is this data )

Do you try to enable Natural Guidance and PhotoReal JCV on 34xx and found some difference?

    Edit:
Found in FW of nuvi 3597 that Natural Guidance.xml is present but in 34xx FW this future not present.

Oh ok, so that is for manually enabling features using a hex editor? Is this not the same as using the enable features in the first post?

Sorry, I don't understand what you just said, I guess it's because of the language barrier again. No offense meant.

Who is Roger? I thought catymag was the original poster in the first post?

    @kevin992002
Best to just accept what popotnik is saying, he has a very advanced knowledge of fw and the problem is not in language but in the relative levels of knowledge and understanding between him and us. Basically what he's saying boils down to that the fw of 34x0 and 35x0 is quite different to that of the closest 2013 equivalent models 24/25x7 & 3597.
