I tried hard to enable voice command on my garmin 3790 which is upgraded to 34xx. Even after installing second time I still can't enable all the features. I cant enable 3d features,exit services,voice command,mp3 player...In the orginal version i.e nuvi 3790 I have 3d feature and voice command but after upgrading to nuvi 34xx I can't see those features. the most important of all voice command.I tried to update ASR files with mapupdater but nothing happens so I downloaded unlocked asr files for 34xx but still no result...
When I checked the backupdata (this is the data in the GPS when I bought it), In .System/Diag/ folder I don't see any html folder including supportedfuture.html file. I think the files I got from Garmin were not in order/corrupted.
Now interestingly I was unable to enter preboot mode for downgrading to 3790. But my device is not bricked because the device is working with 34x firmware but with out all features.

I bricked my 3590LMT EU cause of firmware patching.
I tried to enable Asian jcv with US firmware.
3590 did not start up after flashing.
I got a new one from Garmin support.

Do you mean you couldn't get it back even though you used original US boot bin? If so, Ouch! Are 3590's that touchy?

No chance to get preboot mode because my 3590 never start up by pressing power button.
No light , nothing appeared , Absolutely dead , then Garmin give me other unit (other unit ID, other serial number)

thanks catymag i succeded to transform my 3760t in 3490 and updated to 7.20 with webupdater ,till now things work smoothly ,even signal strengh is beter ,bluetooth works like a charm but i would like to enable videoplayer in it ,because in help files there a mention of this topic but the aplication is not installed .

there is an icon named "audible" with a browser button to navigate , but i dont know if it is an mp3 player ,i put some mp3s in the sd but i had no success to play them ,so any help will be apreciated ; in help's files a mention for mp3 and voice command is present with details on how to use them ,i made some tests,when i change mtp settings ,the usb icon in nuvi turn yellow and when plugged in the pc it displays the windows mediaplayer interface maybe there is a clue there! Who is the author of the Mod_3xxx.exe? Add the PhotoRealJcv feature to the patcher, please ...
