Never updated firmware on my 775T, is it safe to update to the latest firmware as I have several Jetmouse unlocked maps on the 775T, or will the Garmin firmware update prevent me from using any further/newer mapping in the future?

1). It's absolutly safe.
2).No effect to maps inside unit.
3).You can flash unit back to previous firmware version anytime you want.
