Hi,

I want to patch Montana firmware 4.2.
So I downloaded and unzipped Firmwarepatcher 211.
Then I downloaded Montana420.gcd file on
http://[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
I renamed Montana420.gcd in gupdate.gcd.
Then I ran Firmwarepatcher.exe and patched the gupdate.gcd file so that I obtained a gupdate_Patched.gcd file.
Before making a mistake, I would like to know if :
• I connect the Montana to my computer under USB Mass Storage Mode
• I copy the gupdate_Patched.gcd file to [Montana]:\Garmin\
• I disconnect and reboot the Montana
patching process will work without any problems.
Will it be possible to come back to the unpatched version by using original gupdate file ?
