Why can't the Fenix 5 (not 5X) take JNX maps?

I've loaded this firmware to my Garmin Oregon 550 and works like a really well. So I have all the maps I want to use...

They will be able to accept JNX maps after the patch.
The problem is it's impossible to install the patched firmware because Fenix performs some firmware file validation before flashing. And I still couldn't bypass this validation.
