    @Tenebrax, patch works fine. Installed it and my edge 800 accepts jnx without a problem. Tomorrow I ll do my first mountainbike ride with a jnx background.

    firmware update edge 800 version 2.20 patched:

    tested and it works

    for those who already updated to official version 2.20
    here is the same patch version 2.22

    I search a firmware patched version > 2.2 for my Garmin Edge 800 witch have the 2.2 normal firmware?
    There is somebody who find it? and test it?
