    Try sending to Removable drive such as USB flash or other drive besides C:/ system drive. There is also a program that let's you make virtual removable drive but I can't remember the name at the moment. Some one hopefully provide a link to the tutorial.

    Then you can copy img to Garmin/map folder for SP.

    i tred to send it to my USB flash disk..but i get that message in any case...weird...

    Have you tried running it as Administrator? Also you may wish to try Mapsource program.

    Try to go on, I get the same message but it works anyway, message should mean the img is protected from manipulation, unlocking etc, it's standard Garmin message.
    I always get it, but I don't care and Mapinstall (patched) sends img normally to any drive.
