Works like a charm!!!! and can see all maps in map directory!!!
For localisation I installed first Goodone apk for non rooted phones and apply StreetPilot Language shortcut.From data/data/co.garmin.android.apps.. I copied the system file to my PC. Then unistall SP and install the SP mentioned above (for rooted phones storage/sdcard1). Copy the system file from yr PC to data/data/co.garmin.android.apps.. and all is OK

As far as I can see, StreetPilot 2.33 works only on full HD displays (Note 3, Nexus 5, regardless of android 4.4.4. or 4.2.2) or on android 4.4.4 for lower resolutions (Galaxy S3). Also on Android 4.2.2. the app cannot be installed, has to be pushed to data/app or system/app. Note 2 resolution and android 4.2.2 so far is a no go. Anybody ideas for modification of libgarminos for lower resolutions, 1080x720? Cheers.

I install Streepilot.apk from mermigas # 50 on note2.(apk for root phones storage/sdcard1)

but can't select locale. I think system can't find garmin folder.

If use apk for root phone storage/sdcard/ or storage/extSdCard/

I think work on Note2.

Congratulations for Goodone for his success... but personally I am totally LOST, because information is so much scrambled.... Wherever I read (sosaw forum and Catymag) it said that this streetpilot.apk CANNOT be installed, but only copied (in data or system directory, under app folder). But you guyz keep talking about INSTALLING and UNINSTALLING the app....
1 - Are you really using the installer and INSTALL this apk or simply COPY it where it should be and change permissions?
2 - The only difference for the gmxt path should only be in the LIBGARMINOS.SO file... as far as sosaw says..... How come you are throwing in streetpilot.apk versions for internal.external SD? The apk should be the same for all? Not? Cheers.

Hi @mermigas thanks for your post!

I am using a rooted Samsung Tab III 7-inch and would like your opinion:

-Installed goodone's "StreetPilot_v2.3.3_extSdCard_gmxt_NoRoot" and then added Greek and UK English via the "Language" shortcut.
-Then uninstalled it. I have no idea if the languages are still in the device… Does anyone know where they are located?
-Then I installed your shared StreetPilot_v2.3.3_Root.apk file for me.
-Replaced with the correct libgarminos.so file for /storage/extSdCard/gmxt file in the path /data/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/lib/ as usual.
-I checked again that the folder on the sdcard is now called "gmxt" otherwise the app will say "Sorry, Street Pilot was forced to close."
-If I run the app, I get black screen. So I rebooted in recovery and wiped Davlik cache.
-Rebooted again, optimizing all apps was completed.
-Now I run Street Pilot and I get the logo, loading maps etc.

NOTE: All structure of folders etc. is only on my external SD card, do I need to copy over anything on the internal card? The 1st page posts were not too explicit…
Do I need to copy anything to internal storage in /storage/emulated/0/gmxt/ or /storage/emulated/0/Garmin ?

BUT I am stuck at the empty "Select a Locale" screen which is again empty. This is the 2nd time I cannot go past this screen… Any help is welcome!
Is the resolution a problem? My screen is 1024 x 600 Pixels...
I tap randomly and get I blue highlight in other places!
