Garmin Street Pilot all Voice Language and Text Language
for NO ROOT version and ROOT version
This will setup automatically the language's file and voice.
(x:/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin/Text)
(x:/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin/Voice)




No need for install Street pilot language additional app.
To change the voice or language of the Garmin StreetPilot go to
Settings - Language and select set:
Voice Language (89 voices)
Text Language (39 languages)

First download:

In PC prepare all necessary for GSP
Put all gmapprom.img(unlocked)+ 3dgmap.img(unlocked) + gmapdem.img + JCV
in (Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin/.System).
Then copy the folder "Android" (Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin..........)
in desired memory and install application GSP.

Copy the folder Android in external memory or internal memory.
Folder Android = (Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin)

Inside is included:
- gmapbmap .img (Worldwide Autoroute DEM Basemap,NR V 5.01, 006-F0057-01)
- gmaptz.img (Time Zone Map V 14.00, 006-D1074-00)
- locales.xml (version 5.00, 006-D1122-00)
- Voice Language (89 voices)
- Text Language (39 languages)

Install Garmin StreetPilot2.33.apk

Install the application that memory and RESTART the phone.
Launch the application only after RESTART phone
Restarting the phone is required only once !!!!

This image says it is not correct memory location for:
• storage/extSdCard/
• storage/emulated/0/
• storage/sdcard0/
• storage/sdcard1/
Memory location is different for your phone.

Today I tested on a:
• Samsung Galaxy S3 with Android 4.4.4 CyanogenMod version 11 the same problem.
I finally succeeded working with StreetPilot2.33 in /storage/sdcard1/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin

Possible problems reported:
If the Garmin Street Pilot is turned on and connect the phone to external power (USB cable) Garmin Street Pilot application will stop.
The only solution is to connect the phone to external power and then to launch the Garmin Street Pilot so the application will work and will not stop.

i dont understand. is your installation a succes that you recommend to others, or is it a "black window" that you are asking for help? Cheers.

edit: the streetpilot.apk posted by you cannot be installed in my phone.

not working is not recognized / supported for my phone.
After installing the application of the external memory the screen remains black background.

if windows is not black , is white... lololol

i think problem is libgarminos.so because i trie whit different versions and result is black or white windows..

in sgs4 gti9500 and 4.4.2 stock rooted room..

any idea to fix that?
