Noroot apk from 4pda work in Nexus 7 2013 LTE 4.4.4 dalvic 1900-1200, after flash new firmware.
Слава Україні!!!
work on my nexus5 4.4.2 noroot (sdcard0) with goodoane.apk
sdcard/Garmin/.System/gmapprom.img
Works great on wife's s5 with my north america map but when I install same map on my s4, street pilot crashes. If I don't add the map then street pilot starts OK. Any ideas as to why it would do this? I'm on Maple Leaf 4.4.2 ROM and wife's phone is on stock 4.4.2 unroofed.
North America map is 1.8 gig. Stored on her external sdcard. She has a 64 gig in her phone
It works perfectly on Sony Xperia Acro S running Carbon ROM 4.4.4.
Additional information:
I installed the file from post #39 (the link copied to post #1 now)
I used the one for nonroot users and use sdcard/Garmin.
Edit: to provide additional info.

As usual you can put Garmindevice.xml in a Garmin folder in sd and run Webupdater to download voices, text,help, font binary data, keyboards,text, themes etc
You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
Hi Catymag, I saw this statement twice now, but exactly how is this done? I tried and it does nothing! Webupdater is looking for a GPS unit and never reports finding the SD card.
I am trying to get my Asus Padfone 2 to use alternate text, but whatever I do it just defaults to american english and () ? which I guess is the remains of the old Taiwan Chinese. Any idea how to achieve this? I thought this update might work.
Hello, until Catymag answeres to you, let me add that I used this method several times... with Garmin folder on EXTERNAL SD card, the card out of phone into the card reader, and all garmin programs (mapsource, basecamp and webupdater) see the card as a garmin device. The simplest way (that I do) is to have a Garmin folder on a usb stick, in this folder you copy the garmindevice.xml file. Hope to be of help.
