Have you installed the keyboards of your language?
Because I just tried and it showed up the "Garmin Keyboard" to enter the housenumbers

Are you able to Search for address in Search box or you use Where To / Address? As for keyboard, I have them copied over but my SwiftKey keyboard opens when entering.

How do you guys get the garmin keyboard to show? I can't find settings related to keyboard in the Setting menu.

There are no settings for the keyboard, just copy the kbd files to the folder.
However, I have the feeling, that the Garmin keuboard is only available due my map.
I have for example no shortcut to address, this showed up after I set my location to the ocean.
In address search with Google Keyboard, I also can type 139 as shown on the screenshot below

Try to set your location to a different country
This is how my "Where to" screen looks like:

The "Prefecture' is an Address search of Taiwan
When I search by "Prefecture" I get the Garmin keyboard.
If I search by address, I have the Google Keyboard
