Forgive me I took a while to answer back. Well I could never edit anything within the .app file under iOS6 (jailed), still I could install 3 additional maps on the SD Card folder (with ifunbox: USA/Library/sdcard/Garmin/). Try using any of the following map names and you'll be able have your maps working: gmapdem.img, gmap3d.img, gmapsupp.img. Could also add the Junction View files (just creating a JCV folder within the same folder I loaded the maps).

Now, there are additionals that can be done, Imagine only for jailbroken under iOS6: instal custom .plst files, POI, vehicle and voices. Since this is all within the .app file then cannot be modified with a jailed phone. Hope this gets a workaround.
